- Mid-2010s — the founder, an industrial designer with 20+ years of experience, begins serious work on the conviction that the most sustainable, decentralized source of clean water is the air itself.
- 2016–2017 — technical development and reduction to practice of atmospheric-water hardware.
- Following years — iterative development and field validation of all-season atmospheric water generation.
- 2021 — Atmosphere Ventures established; entity and domain secured (Nevada).
- 2026 — one U.S. patent granted (desiccant-rotor technology, intended for future products), with additional patents pending and invention disclosures covering AWG systems, components, and machines (specifics deliberately withheld from public materials).
- 2026 — first commercial product built and installed at a public site in Kapalua, Maui; production unit scheduled for service late August 2026.
